The South Carolina Landscape and Turfgrass Association (SCLTA) provides training to professional turf and landscape managers in South Carolina. In addition, a quarterly magazine highlighting industry news is provided with membership. Membership includes landscapers, municipal grounds keepers, golf course employees, students, industry suppliers, university staff, master gardeners, and individuals interested in continuing their knowledge base in the green industry.

Joining SCLTA enables one to affordably train employees in crucial areas of landscape management. Programs promote topics such as pesticide certification and credits, proper selection and design of landscape plantings, insect and plant pest identification and treatment, weed control strategies, irrigation installation and repair, legislation and regulation affecting the green industry, and many more interesting and useful topics. Business management and record keeping are topics that are crucial and important to the on-going successful operation of a landscape management company. Find answers to your questions through member networking and training.

The low-cost membership fee provides funding for annual scholarship awards to deserving students in South Carolina seeking degrees in landscape management fields. In addition, fees help offset the costs of publications and postage. Joining SCLTA is definitely a positive move for your company or organization. Let your employees know that you believe in education by joining SCLTA today.
